A compilation and summation of thoughts, pictures, updates, and God moments. This isn’t quite a page of solely reflections - but it’s more a holistic overview with my thoughts mixed in.
<aside> ♻️ I actually made something similar to this a few years ago for a different missions trip… there’s a nostalgia that I’m thankful for, and I am excited for the space to share my mind without having to worry about space.

Hey all :)
To the best of my ability, I’ve written below my final letter and reflection from Vietnam and its busy, alive, and colorful streets. Within it, you’ll hear about the simply strong faith of the Christians I met in this closed country, and reflections I can try to share in full from these memories. Not gonna lie, there is no method to the madness in this last letter. It’s my mind reliving those interactions and hoping to give you a taste of them! Sorry if it’s long ;’)
Thanks for reading!

I struggle very much with answering clearly this question that’s almost a given after coming back from anything other than your ‘normal’ :
How was it?
And… well. I had a very full time in this wonderful country across the sea. There’s a window the Lord is making in Vietnam, both for people to go and share about Christ, but also a lingering invite for others to let Him completely change their life. From my reflection, this trip was not spent doing widespread sharing of the Gospel or pining to convert others—it took a more relational turn. The people and relationships I made across these eleven days warm my heart— their testaments of how God has been speaking to them and pulling them deeper into discipline and love for Him leads me to PTL for these new friends.
I’m thankful as well for how going on this trip has opened a door for my work colleagues to hear (if only a bit) of what happened there, and more of where my faith lies. It’s a familiar uncomfortableness at first, to share more raw thoughts about my time there with non-Christian friends, but…thank you Lord for opening the door. Would you teach me always how to walk wisely in it!
Managed to get out a few updates every couple of days throughout the length of the trip! Thank goodness for email, WiFi, a SIM card, and being able to quickly jot thoughts down on my phone, since I didn’t bring a laptop overseas. If there’s anything I mentioned in those updates that I don’t expand upon here below, please feel free to message me further about it.
